The Arlington County Police Department is collecting needed essentials for unsheltered individuals in our community. Officers will be present at the following locations and times to collect new toiletries and cold weather items as well as engage with community members:
Donation Times and Locations:
Friday, Oct. 20, 12 p.m.- 3 p.m, Lee Harrison Shopping Center, 2425 N. Harrison Street
Wednesday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m, Arlington County Police Department, 1425 N. Courthouse Road
Suggested Items for Donation
The following new, unopened items are needed most:
Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Soap, Socks, Backpacks, T-Shirts*, Underwear*, Pants*, Jackets*, Gloves/hats/scarves, Blankets
*Most needed for adult males
Distribution: Donated items will be distributed by the Police Department and Department of Human Services personnel to those in need.
